Chicamocha National park
The Chicamocha National Park (also known as PANACHI), recently created, is one of the few natural parks in Colombia dedicated to ecotourism, being therefore one of the most important tourist sites in the country. It was opened to the public on Saturday, December 2, 2006.
The park is located on the road Bucaramanga - San
Gil, 54 km from the capital of the department of Santander and 39 km from San
Gil, being jurisdiction of the municipality of Aratoca, it has been built on
the Chicamocha Canyon, taking advantage of its natural riches and historical

The Park comprises an urban complex made up of
different elements and places that represent the culture of Santander.
